I've 'possum proofed' the garage (with the aid of some wire mesh and a staple gun, very high tech), dusted off my tool boxes, opened my boxes of goodies bought months ago, and am desperately trying to get my space set up ready for the messy side of shoe making - gluing, lasting, sanding, skiving and so on and so forth.
The fire has not gone out, but needs a little re-kindling... not too much or it may get too hot too quickly and get frustrated... so to speak. Many, many projects on the go, in various stages of completion, crying out to be finished, processes being worked out and thought through during night time feeding and endless re-settling.
Now to find a way to snatch some uninterrupted hours to get it all happening. The washing machine will only babysit for so long...
Oh, I love the black (or is it navy?) and white shoes. They're awesome!
