I've been desperate for some closed toe flat shoes (no open toes allowed in the workshop...) and have been working on these for quite some time. My working title for them is lace up court shoe... really must come up with something better, although I'm quite liking ruby slipper which I just thought of then!
Before the soles were made...
...soles made, stained and covered with a thin rubber sole...
...soled and mostly finished!
I'm very excited they're almost done, but they can't be worn yet unfortunately... I will be exhibiting them in a couple of weeks.
